Hi - I'm Sarah.
I'm a SYSPRO consultant who came from the finance office, not the software sales side. For 24 years I was Head of Finance at a UK manufacturer, with SYSPRO at the centre of almost everything I did - purchasing, production, stock, month-end, management accounts.
I started Ctrl Alt Insight to help other manufacturers get more out of the same system. If something's broken, slow, or just confusing, I've probably been on your side of the desk.

What keeps me interested
Projects where a small amount of well-placed software makes the day easier - like linking SYSPRO to external data so a team can plan supply conversations with more confidence.
Or adding useful sustainability metrics to invoices and delivery notes, so the information customers ask for is easier to provide without creating another reporting chore.

If something in SYSPRO feels confusing, it is worth asking. We will work through it calmly.
Ctrl Alt Insight is a small, direct practice. When you work with me, you work with me. For custom software I may bring in trusted specialist developers, but I stay close to the engagement and keep the relationship clear.
How I got here

I spent 24 years as Head of Finance for an SME manufacturer in the heart of England. SYSPRO sat at the centre of the operation - I used it daily across purchasing, production, stock, month-end, and management accounts. I learned its strengths and its sharp edges from inside the business, while using it every day.
During COVID I worked through SYSPRO's LearnIt programme - every module, while still running finance for a live manufacturing business. That combination - finance leadership and SYSPRO LearnIt certification - is the perspective I bring into each engagement.
Ctrl Alt Insight followed. If you're running SYSPRO and something isn't working the way you need it to, there is probably a practical reason. We can look at it together, without jargon or pressure.
